Join us for an unforgettable 8-hour journey to explore the Golden Circle. This tour includes stops at Þingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir, and the Friðheimar Geothermal Greenhouses. Enjoy the ride in a comfortable tourist bus with an English-speaking guide.

Overview
The “Golden Circle” is Iceland’s most popular tour route, departing from Reykjavik, heading east, completing a loop, and returning to the city. This one-day tour allows you to visit three of Iceland’s most famous natural attractions: Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall, and the Geysir Hot Springs Area. The tour also includes stops at other notable sites along the way.

The Route Includes:

  1. Parque Nacional de Þingvellir
The first stop is Þingvellir, home to the world’s first parliament, established in 930 AD. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is also the only place on Earth where you can see tectonic plates above ground. Walk between the North American and Eurasian plates and experience breathtaking views of the valley below.
  2. Cascada de Gullfoss
Gullfoss, or “Golden Falls,” is one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls. Located on the Hvita River, the waterfall is divided into two stages before the river makes a sharp turn into a deep canyon. On sunny days, a beautiful rainbow often forms above the falls.
  3. Geysir Hot Springs Area
The third stop is the Geysir Hot Springs Area in Haukadalur Valley. While the word “Geyser” refers to the phenomenon of water and steam erupting from the ground, it is also the name of a specific geyser in the park. The active Strokkur Geyser erupts every 10 minutes, creating an impressive water column.

Additional Stops:

  • Kerið Crater: A volcanic crater with a stunning lake at its center.
  • Skálholt Church: A historic site where Iceland’s first bishop resided.
  • Nesjavellir Geothermal Power Station: A glimpse into Iceland’s geothermal energy.

¿Cómo llegar?
The Golden Circle is easily accessible and a must-do for anyone visiting Iceland. You can join a tour from Reykjavik or opt for a more adventurous jeep tour to explore off-the-beaten-path locations that buses can’t reach.

Why Choose the Golden Circle Tour?
This tour is perfect for those with limited time who still want to experience Iceland’s natural wonders. The Golden Circle covers some of the island’s most iconic sites, yet Iceland has countless other natural wonders to explore, making it an excellent starting point for discovering more of what the country has to offer.
