No. All our tour packages include the highest level of vehicle insurance available in Iceland — with zero deductible across the board. Coverage includes windshield damage, volcanic ash and gravel, undercarriage, F-roads, and river crossings. There is nothing left uncovered.
Absolutely. Every itinerary on our website is a starting point, not a fixed product. Before confirming your booking, we review your interests, pace, and priorities — then shape the route accordingly. Nothing is set until it works for you.
Neither direction has a clear advantage — both offer the same highlights and scenery. The choice depends on your personal preferences, which activities you've booked, and ferry schedules if applicable. We'll recommend the best direction once we know your full itinerary.
Optional activities are not included in the package price, but we handle all bookings on your behalf — at the same cost as booking directly with the provider. Most activities take 1–3 hours and fit seamlessly into your daily itinerary. We'll recommend options based on your route and interests.
Payment is made via credit card or bank transfer. We never ask for card details directly — instead, we send a secure payment link so your information is never stored with us.

Deposit: 10% of the total trip cost is due at booking.
Balance: The remaining amount is due four weeks before departure.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade accommodation on specific nights only. Price adjustments are calculated per night, so you only pay the difference for the nights affected. A popular choice for travelers who want to treat themselves in a particular location.
During Your Trip
Welcome to Iceland! A rental company representative will be waiting for you at the Tourist Information Desk near the arrivals exit at Keflavík Airport. They'll hand over your car, walk you through the vehicle, and you're on your way. No queues, no counters.
Yes. The rental office near Keflavík Airport operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Early morning arrivals, late-night returns — no problem at all.
Every package includes coverage for two drivers at no extra cost. Additional drivers can be added at the rental desk when you pick up the car. Just bring their driving licence.
Iceland's official road authority publishes live updates at road.is. Our navigation app also highlights road closures and conditions relevant to your route. We monitor conditions during your trip and will alert you to anything important.
You'll have a dedicated 24/7 emergency contact number throughout your trip. Our team is based in Iceland and knows how to handle everything from flat tyres to itinerary changes caused by weather. You're never alone out there.
No off-road experience is required. F-roads are unpaved gravel tracks that are well-maintained and straightforward to drive. A 4×4 vehicle is mandatory by Icelandic law. For routes involving river crossings, the vehicle must also be rated for wading — we'll advise exactly which car you need.
We guide clients to straightforward crossings that require no prior experience — just a capable 4×4. And unlike most rental packages, our insurance fully covers river crossings with zero deductible. You're completely protected, no exceptions.
All standard hikes included in our itineraries are short and easy — suitable for all fitness levels. Our navigation app shows exact distances and effort ratings for every trail. For those who enjoy longer walks, many itineraries include optional hikes of up to 10 km, and we can prioritise these if hiking is important to you.
Camping is a wonderful way to experience Iceland — most towns have at least one campground, and sites are generally well-equipped. Wild camping outside designated areas is prohibited under Icelandic law. If you'd like to incorporate camping into your itinerary, just let us know and we'll plan accordingly.
